Dalkia UK have a great opportunity for a Building Surveyor to support our PFI and other contracts by fulfilling a programme of building / asset condition surveys on a permanent basis. You will be based out of our Manchester office but will be travelling to sites across the North of England and other parts of the UK when required.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Liaise with Dalkia Senior management, Regional Project Managers and internal management with respect to asset management.
- Carrying out measured building surveys.
- Drawing floor plans on AutoCAD.
- Amending floor plans using AutoCAD.
- Complete the rolling programme of surveys to support the delivery of contract obligations.
- Develop, monitor and deliver a programme of condition surveys on buildings and assets, using proprietary software.
- Identify where required the need for specialist knowledge and skills in the assessment of asset condition, using the supply chain to provide detailed assessment of life expectancy and maintainability of assets.
- Developing effective working relationships with the supply chain to ensure the timely delivery of condition reports.
- Advise on statutory compliance where appropriate.
- Comply with all site specific Health and Safety regulations.
