Dalkia UK is seeking an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to support our commercial projects team. You will work closely with internal teams and our supply chain to manage risk, improve margin, and maintain our reputation for quality and accountability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all commercial elements of major projects in line with Dalkia processes.
  • Monitor and control subcontractor accounts, including applications, variations, and payments.
  • Provide accurate forecasting of final accounts and cash flow.
  • Identify and manage commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on financial matters.
  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate project reports, forecasts, and valuations.
  • Monitor all project costs including labour, materials, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Strong commercial awareness and risk management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage workload across multiple projects.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety implications in commercial environments.
  • Background in Mechanical & Electrical quantity surveying within building services.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.

Internal stakeholders include Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, Buyers, Estimators, and Health & Safety teams. External stakeholders include Clients, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
