We’re now looking for an M&E Clerk of Works to join our QSHE team and provide independent site-based quality assurance across our projects.
- Act as an independent inspector of mechanical and electrical works across live projects.
- Ensure installations are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, standards, and client requirements.
- Carry out regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, materials, and compliance.
- Identify defects and non-conformances, reporting findings clearly to project teams and clients.
- Support multiple projects across the full lifecycle, from construction through to handover and aftercare.
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records and site reports.
- Work closely with project, commercial, and operational teams to drive quality standards on site.
- Monitor and report on quality issues, trends, and risks.
- Witness testing and commissioning activities where required.
- Promote a culture of right-first-time delivery and high-quality workmanship.
- Strong background in Mechanical or Electrical building services (e.g. Electrician, Plumber, Supervisor, Site Manager).
- Proven experience working on construction or M&E projects.
- Excellent knowledge of site installations, drawings, and industry standards.
- CSCS card (essential).
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, quality-focused approach.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools is desirable.
- Work on technically interesting, high-impact projects.
