We’re now looking for an M&E Clerk of Works to join our QSHE team and provide independent site-based quality assurance across our projects.

  • Act as an independent inspector of mechanical and electrical works across live projects.
  • Ensure installations are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, standards, and client requirements.
  • Carry out regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, materials, and compliance.
  • Identify defects and non-conformances, reporting findings clearly to project teams and clients.
  • Support multiple projects across the full lifecycle, from construction through to handover and aftercare.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records and site reports.
  • Work closely with project, commercial, and operational teams to drive quality standards on site.
  • Monitor and report on quality issues, trends, and risks.
  • Witness testing and commissioning activities where required.
  • Promote a culture of right-first-time delivery and high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong background in Mechanical or Electrical building services (e.g. Electrician, Plumber, Supervisor, Site Manager).
  • Proven experience working on construction or M&E projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of site installations, drawings, and industry standards.
  • CSCS card (essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, quality-focused approach.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools is desirable.
  • Work on technically interesting, high-impact projects.
