We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Facilities Technician to join our team in the Rutherglen area. This role involves working on Saturdays and Sundays from 0800 to 1600.
Dalkia UK is a provider of technical engineering solutions for the built environment. We engineer, manage, and optimise smart spaces and places using emerging technologies to improve work, learning, and living environments.
About the Role:
The technician will undertake daily maintenance activities, routine service, fault finding, and repairs of building services and equipment.
Duties include:
- Opening and closing schools according to occupancy times.
- Performing internal and external checks of buildings and reporting faults such as leaks or damaged tiles.
- Carrying out non-specialist repairs.
- Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks within designated timescales.
- Managing visitor sign-in/out procedures and control of keys.
- Carrying out site inductions for contractors and visitors.
- Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements for ongoing work.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensuring safety regulations and company policies are followed.
- Maintaining operational compliance of the school at all times.
The above duties are not exhaustive; additional tasks may be assigned within the scope of the role.
Person Specification:
