What you will be doing

As a key member of the on-site engineering team, you’ll take ownership of planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks to ensure the ongoing safety, compliance, and operational efficiency of building systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and electrical fault-finding on building services systems.
  • Perform electrical installations and periodic testing, including 5-year fixed wire inspections.
  • Complete all certification and documentation in line with Dalkia and client standards.
  • Respond effectively to helpdesk requests and reactive maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records through the CAFM system.
  • Support Health & Safety compliance across all engineering activities.
  • Work collaboratively with subcontractors, site teams, and Dalkia colleagues to meet service-level expectations.

The ideal candidate:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (2330/2360 or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial/industrial facilities maintenance
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and electrical standards
  • Excellent fault diagnosis and problem-solving abilities
  • Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • AM2 Qualification/Gold card
  • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
  • ECS/CSCS Card
  • IPAF 3A & 3B (advantageous)
