Are you an experienced Contract Manager with a passion for operational excellence and technical leadership? We’re looking for a dynamic individual to join our team at Dalkia UK, managing facilities maintenance services across Imperial College’s prestigious London campuses. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-profile environment, leading a dedicated team that delivers critical building services across academic and research facilities — 24/7.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Overseeing planned maintenance and ensuring a responsive, high-quality reactive service.
- Leading a multidisciplinary team to meet and exceed contractual KPIs and SLAs.
- Acting as the key on-site representative, building strong client relationships across multi-site facilities maintenance operation.
- Driving safety culture through visible leadership and regular audits.
- Identifying operational efficiencies and growth opportunities for the contract.
- Managing directly employed staff and suppliers.
- Managing subcontractor performance and supporting commercial delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid technical knowledge in M&E and building fabric maintenance.
- Proven experience managing multi-site FM operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proficiency with CAFM systems and reporting tools.
- Ability to manage financial performance, including P&L oversight.
- Clear, confident communicator able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- IOSH Managing Safely.
- Experience leading FM services in a client-facing role.
Desirable:
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- HNC in Building Services Engineering.
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
