We are currently seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors to join our team in Edinburgh. The primary role is to oversee the installation, commissioning, and handover of electrical commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Electrical Work: Oversee all field aspects of electrical work on site to ensure successful project completion within timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure all Electrical activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Monitor Progress: Track progress against the schedule and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Facilitate Communication: Coordinate between site field and back-office teams and other key stakeholders.
- Provide Technical Expertise: Offer technical guidance for the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Maintain Documentation: Keep accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including work logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
- SJIB Approved Electrician ECS Grade Card.
- City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or equivalent.
- 18th Edition IEE Registration or equivalent.
- Health and Safety Training.
- GCSE passes in Maths and English or equivalent.
- Experience managing E&I projects in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or industrial manufacturing.
- Supervisory skills including delegation, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and instrumentation drawings and schematics.
- Effective communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic CRB Clearance within the past 8 weeks with Disclosure Scotland.
- SJIB Technician ECS Grade Card.
- Compex 01-04, 05-06.
- Inspection and testing 2391.
