Our teams work across critical environments, supporting clients in healthcare, industrial, commercial & energy sectors.

We are currently looking to hire a mechanical engineering Trainee/Apprentice. As an apprentice, you'll work with us at Dalkia and gain hands-on experience. You will learn how to apply and undertake the project workload and allocate specific tasks to other appointed personnel associated with the project in conjunction with directions from the project leadership team.

  • Assist in ensuring the projects are operating in an efficient and profitable manner.
  • Understand the preparation of operational project programmes in line with the main project programme and identify labour and material procurement deadlines.
  • Create sub-contract packages and compare responses back to the tender position, identifying any changes or gaps in scope.
  • Arrange and attend sub-contract reviews, meetings and appointments, and liaise with project surveyors as necessary.

Where you’ll work: Our Birmingham office - Park Square, Solihull Parkway, Birmingham.

College: Leeds College of Building.

Training Course: Building Services Engineering - Level 4.

Your training plan: A block release of learning will be required at Leeds College, 1 week in every 5.

Requirements of the role: 5 GCSEs including Maths, English & Science at grade 4/C.
