Dalkia UK are looking for a full time HR Data and Insights Analyst to join our HR team. This role will be based out of our Birmingham office in Birmingham business park.

Job Purpose

To provide high-quality people data, reporting and workforce insights that enable evidence-based decision making across the organisation.

The role is responsible for developing HR dashboards, analysing workforce trends, improving data quality and supporting the use of technology and automation to enhance HR performance and organisational effectiveness.

Working closely with the Head of HR Operations, HR colleagues, Finance, IT and business leaders, the HR Data & Insights Analyst will transform people data into meaningful insight, supporting workforce planning, operational excellence and strategic decision making.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports and automated reporting solutions to provide accurate, timely workforce insights.
  • Analyse workforce data (e. g. headcount, turnover, absence, recruitment, diversity and engagement) to identify trends, risks and opportunities, supporting workforce planning and decision making.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, governance and GDPR compliance, resolving data issues and maintaining reporting standards.
  • Maintain and support the HR systems infrastructure, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, up to date and effectively integrated with other business systems.
  • Support optimisation of HR systems and leverage technology, AI and automation to improve reporting and efficiency.
  • Develop and monitor HR KPIs, providing analysis on performance and supporting measurement of people initiatives.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent, Employee Experience, Finance and operational leaders to deliver meaningful insight that supports evidence-based decision making.
  • Drive continuous improvement by simplifying reporting processes and promoting a data-driven culture.

  • High availability, reliability and performance of HR systems, with successful delivery of system enhancements, upgrades and integrations, and increased automation, efficiency and effective use of HR systems and reporting tools.

Qualifications

This role will suit a wide-ranging candidate profile of varying levels of ability and experience.

Notwithstanding, the knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience relevant to the position are as follows:

Essential

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience analysing data and producing insights.
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools, with experience creating dashboards (e. g. Power BI or similar).
  • Ability to communicate complex data clearly and effectively.
  • Experience working with systems and managing data.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with HR systems (e. g. i Trent, Workday), SQL/Power BI, AI tools, workforce planning and multi-site environments.
