Are you a hands-on engineering supervisor ready to lead from the front? We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Working Engineering Supervisor to join our team and oversee our prestigious Derby College contract. The engineer will required to complete A/C across all sites.
This is a key role where you’ll be the technical lead on-site, managing a skilled team and ensuring both planned and reactive works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
· Supervising and supporting a team of multi-skilled engineers and subcontractors
· Acting as the main point of contact for the client, resolving technical queries and performance issues
· Ensuring all PPM and reactive maintenance tasks are completed to contract requirements
· Conducting site inspections and maintaining compliance documentation
· Managing work instructions, job variations, and ensuring timely, high-quality task completion
· Taking responsibility for H&S compliance, team training, discipline, and performance
· Monitoring and controlling costs, materials, and equipment allocation
AC engineer to complete PPM/Reactive requirements
What You’ll Need:
· Team management experience and a proven background in a supervisory role
· City & Guilds in Mechanical – AC qualification required
· IOSH Managing Safely or similar Health & Safety qualification
· Strong understanding of compliance and service delivery standards
