Role Purpose
We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team in Glasgow. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing support to the Commercial Team, allowing for the effective management of contracts and contributing to the overall success of our projects. By helping to control costs and manage subcontractor relationships, you'll lay the groundwork for a thriving career in quantity surveying within our energy and engineering services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers in the commercial management of contracts from inception to completion across various projects.
- Help with cost control, prepare valuations, manage subcontractor payments, and generate cost reports and project forecasts with consistent attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate commercial records and contribute to timely project reporting, ensuring that all documentation adheres to Dalkia's standards.
- Build effective relationships with project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
