- Job Purpose
- To carry out the installation, testing, inspection and commissioning of electrical building services installations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- To carry out electrical installation tasks as directed by site supervision teams.
- Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
- To ensure quality installation standards are met.
- To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all electrically related job requirements on the project.
- Assist other trades as necessary.
- To comply with security protocol within the site environment.
- To remain focussed on delivery of the project to the satisfaction of the client.
- To work with a “right first time” attitude within the business.
- To be committed to working in integrated mechanical and electrical teams.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
The knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience relevant to the position are:
Essential
- Current (in date) SJIB Approved Electrician ECS Grade Card.
- City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent.
- 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I. E. E) Registration or recognised equivalent.
- Health and Safety Training.
- GCSE (or ‘O' Level equivalent) passes in Maths and English or recognised equivalent.
- Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.
Desirable
- Basic Mechanical experience/knowledge.
- Supervisory experience for future development.
- Basic CRB Clearance within the past 8 weeks with Disclosure Scotland.
