About the Role
Dalkia UK is looking for a Mobile MultiâSkilled Service Engineer with a core Electrical background to join our Engineering Services team. You will be responsible for delivering highâquality Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and emergency support across client sites in line with contract requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the UK's largest M&E contractor and a trusted part of the EDF Group, offering longâterm stability and ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical building services.
- Diagnose faults and repair lighting, plumbing, and distribution systems.
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety legislation and engineering standards.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, inspections, and completed work.
- Respond promptly to helpdesk requests, breakdowns, and emergencies.
- Liaise with subâcontractors and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support project works and lifecycle replacements across the contract.
- Attend client meetings and produce reports as required.
What You'll Need
Essential
- Recognised apprenticeship or SVQ Level 2/3 in Service & Maintenance or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience across commercial buildings.
- Health and Safety awareness.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Solid understanding of general building PPM routines and fault diagnosis.
Desirable
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
- Experience with BMS, automatic controls, and Legionella compliance (ACOP L8).
- Familiarity with PPM systems like Concept 5000 or Evolution.
- Gas Safe qualifications (COCN1, CIGA1, etc.).
- F-Gas certification and knowledge of refrigeration systems.
- IPAF 3a/3b & PASMA certification.
