Domestic Operative
Location: Heysham 1 Power Station
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 05:30- 13:30 & Friday 05.30 -12:30
About the Role
Dalkia UK is looking for a reliable and experienced Domestic Operative to join our team at Heysham 1 Power Station.
You will help keep the site clean, tidy and safe by carrying out general cleaning duties across the workplace.
Your Main Duties
- Cleaning offices, staff rooms, toilets, washrooms and other areas.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
- Using cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
- Keeping all areas clean, tidy and presentable.
- Following cleaning instructions and daily work schedules.
- Following all health, safety and environmental rules.
- Reporting any accidents, damage or safety concerns to your Supervisor.
- Attending team briefings and following instructions.
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience (essential).
- Able to use cleaning equipment safely.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable, organised and able to work on your own.
- A good team player with a flexible approach.
- An understanding of health and safety.
