Shift Lead Engineer
Location: Central London
Hours: 12 hours shifts, 4 on 4 off (7am-7pm/7pm-7am)
About the Role
We are looking for a Shift Lead Engineer to provide technical leadership within a retail environment. As the senior engineer on shift, you'll coordinate maintenance activities and support the safe, reliable operation of site infrastructure.
You'll be supporting customer-facing retail environments where presentation, service continuity and customer experience are key priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering activities during shift operations
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works
- Support fault diagnosis and incident management
- Monitor compliance with site procedures
- Review permits and maintenance documentation
- Provide technical support and guidance
What We’re Looking For
- Fully electrical qualifications – NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong engineering maintenance background
- Knowledge of critical infrastructure or building services systems
- Able to participate in an on-call rota
