Dalkia UK have a great opportunity for a Cleaning Team Leader to join our team based at St Ambrose RC High School with a 35 hour a week contract. You will be responsible for all general cleaning including all site areas such as hard/carpeted floors, sanitary and kitchenette areas, walls, doors, fixtures and fittings where appropriate.
The Role
- Responsible for the general cleaning of the premises in accordance specification, under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Ensuring all cleaning materials are handled and used in the correct way in accordance with the COSHH data sheet.
- Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager to ensure Cleaning team are meeting their Aims/Objectives.
- Report to Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager any Cleaning Team Issues.
- Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager with Cleaning Audits when required.
- Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager with Stock Control.
- Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager with direction for Cleaning Team.
- Assist with 1 to 1 training with Cleaners at Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager request.

Hours of Work
Split shift 35 hours a week Monday- Thursday β 06:30-08:30am + 13:30-18:30 Friday β 06:30-08:30am + 13:00-18:00
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a cleaner or similar role.
- Experience in the use of cleaning equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Well-organised and capable of prioritising own work.
- Flexible approach to working as part of a team.
- Ability to liaise with Cleaners with direction from Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager.
- COSHH Training.
