Location: Heysham 1 Power Station

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits Package

Shift Pattern: Monday–Thursday 07:45–16:15 | Friday 07:45–12:45

Join Dalkia as a Project Field Supervisor at Heysham 1, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of the station. This is a dynamic, hands-on position overseeing a varied portfolio of works delivered by third-party contractors and internal teams. No two days are the same; your expertise, leadership, and attention to detail will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Setting contractors to work and providing clear direction on site
  • Supervising a diverse range of civils, construction, and mechanical projects across the station
  • Coordinating with external contractors and internal teams to ensure timely and effective delivery
  • Ensuring Health & Safety compliance at all times, including reviewing RAMS, undertaking risk assessments, and updating documentation where required
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with subcontractors
  • Proactively resolving on-site issues to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Providing visible, hands-on supervision of works in progress

  • Proven experience supervising projects within civils, construction, or mechanical disciplines
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office applications
  • A proactive, reliable, and adaptable team player with a strong work ethic
