Your Role
- As part of our mobile engineering team, you’ll take ownership of your sites and ensure critical heating systems are fully operational, safe, and compliant.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on boilers, mechanical systems amongst other associated heating equipment.
- Respond efficiently to reactive maintenance issues.
- Work across educational and local authority buildings in Merseyside.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults onsite.
- Maintain strict compliance with health & safety and statutory standards.
- Support minor installation and upgrade works.
- Keep accurate service records and documentation.
- Join the on-call rota for out-of-hours support.
- Stay current with training and industry developments.
What You’ll Need
- You’re a self-sufficient engineer with a strong technical background and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a mechanical discipline (e.g., Heating & Ventilating 6018) or equivalent.
- Domestic & Commercial Gas Safe registered.
- Experience with AHUs, BMS, AC systems, cold water systems, and plant room equipment.
- Familiarity with reading/extracting data from BMS systems.
- NICEIC accreditation for gas installations.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office for record-keeping.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Able to pass a DBS check.
