We’re seeking a proactive Building Fabric Maintenance Operative to join our team at Heysham 2 on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role responsible for coordinating and delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple disciplines – including civils, building fabric maintenance, carpentry, and plumbing.
You’ll contribute directly to maintaining operational excellence by ensuring safety, compliance, and quality standards are met, while working closely with subcontractors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a wide range of civils, carpentry, plumbing and building fabric maintenance across the site.
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise PPM and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring schedules, standards, and budgets are met.
- Support other trades across the station.
- Oversee subcontractors and internal teams, ensuring safe and efficient site operations.
- Promote a strong safety-first culture, complying with Health and Safety regulations.
