Dalkia UK has a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team onsite at our client EDF’s showcase residential training and conference centre, Cannington Court in Somerset.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

About the Role: Manage a staff team, ensuring efficient management of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), statutory compliance, and cost-saving initiatives, while overseeing the overall site operations. Lead daily facilities services and operations, deputising for the Facilities Manager and Front of House Manager when needed. Work in a unique, beautiful venue that includes a restored Grade I Listed former Priory, featuring contemporary finishes, energy-efficient principles, and advanced technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact for clients, employees, and visitors.
  • Coordinate site facilities teams and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all H&S and statutory legislation.
  • Maintain service quality according to contractual SLA’s and KPI’s, exceeding client expectations.
  • Handle administrative tasks including invoicing and purchase requisitions.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to understand and exceed client needs.

Requirements: Experience in management, facilities management, and customer-facing roles. Own transport is necessary as there is no public transport to the site.
