Dalkia is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator with strong finance and procurement administration experience to join our team at Sizewell B. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and takes pride in delivering accurate and efficient administrative support. Working closely with operational, finance, and site teams, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business activities, supporting procurement processes, maintaining financial records, and providing comprehensive administrative support across the contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide finance and procurement administration support, including purchase order processing, invoice management, goods receipt administration, and supplier liaison.
- Support budget tracking and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Process and monitor procurement requests in line with company procedures and controls.
- Maintain employee absence, sickness, and annual leave records.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for employees and visitors.
- Organise meetings, prepare documentation, and produce accurate meeting minutes and action logs.
- Manage internal and external communications, including telephone enquiries, emails, and correspondence.
- Maintain and update company systems, databases, and filing records to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders across the business.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider site management and operational teams.
About You
The successful candidate will be a professional administrator with excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail. You will be comfortable working independently while managing competing priorities and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative role with exposure to finance and procurement processes.
- Strong understanding of purchase orders, invoices, supplier administration, and financial record keeping.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- A proactive and flexible approach with strong problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- Experience working within facilities management, engineering, construction, or a similar operational environment.
- Previous experience supporting HR administration activities.
- Familiarity with procurement and finance systems.
