Lead complex energy and infrastructure projects from design through to delivery. Drive performance, quality, and meaningful client outcomes. We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of the successful delivery of high-value, multi-disciplinary projects across energy efficiency, carbon reduction and building performance. You'll play a pivotal role in leading teams, managing key client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll oversee the full project lifecycle—from early design development and planning, through construction, commissioning, measurement & verification, and final handover.

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as the senior point of contact for key client relationships and project stakeholders
  • Leading end-to-end delivery across cost, programme, quality, risk and safety performance
  • Owning project financials including budgets, cashflow, forecasting and P&L accountability
  • Ensuring robust governance, reporting and compliance across all project stages
  • Managing risk, change control and contractual obligations (NEC/JCT environments)
  • Overseeing commissioning, handover and measurement & verification processes
  • Leading, developing and supporting multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Embedding strong QSHE standards and driving a proactive safety culture
  • Supporting early‑stage project development, bids and business growth opportunities

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience delivering multiple complex construction or energy projects
  • Strong client-facing background with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially astute with experience managing budgets, P&L and contracts
  • Experience in energy performance, retrofit or large‑scale building services projects
  • Good understanding of EPC delivery models and M&V processes
  • Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
  • Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) preferred
  • APM qualification or equivalent desirable

What sets you apart:

You're a confident and credible leader who thrives in complex delivery environments. You bring structure to ambiguity, build strong relationships at all levels, and are motivated by delivering measurable improvements in energy performance, sustainability and operational outcomes. If you're looking for a role where you can lead impactful projects and contribute directly to decarbonisation and long‑term energy efficiency, we'd love to hear from you.
