Role: HGV Class 1 & 2 Driver
Location: Welwyn Garden City / Wembley
HGV Class 1 & 2 Pay Rate: £19.00 - £28.50 per hour
Working Hours: Tuesday to Friday 0730-16:15 based in Welwyn Garden City
Saturday 08:00-16:45 based in Wembley
Our client based in Welwyn Garden City & Wembley is a supplier of Mediterranean food products using temperature-controlled vehicles to stores in and around London.
HGV Class 1 & 2 Driver Responsibilities:
- Mixture of trunking, shunting and store deliveries
- Load a temperature controlled vehicle
- When doing store deliveries you will work with a drivers mate to carry out 10-12 drops a day to stores in and around London.
- When trunking it will be between Welwyn Garden City and Wembley
- Deliver directly to customers premises
- Carry out vehicle inspections at the start of each shift and report any faults to the line manager
- Debrief at the end of each day
HGV Class 1 & 2 driver, essential requirements:
- Full UK Licence category C+E will accept newly passed with 1 years HGV 2 experience
- Valid CPC and digi tacho card
- Over 25 due to insurance
- At least 6 months experience driving a Class 2 Truck in the last 12 months
Position starts as soon as possible.
