Location: Heathrow and surrounding

Hourly Rate: £12.21-£13.50 per hour

Shifts: Days, Nights & Weekends, 8-12 hour shifts with various start times

Our clients based around Heathrow Airport and the surrounding areas are looking for experienced Cargo Warehouse Operatives to work in the freight forwarding industry.

Cargo Operatives Responsibilities:

  • Working Day or Night shift, some roles will require flexibility to work a varied shift pattern
  • Working between 8-12 hours per shift
  • Building and breaking down ULDs
  • Booking in and receipt of freight
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Wrapping freight
  • Maintaining a high standard of safety within the warehouse including manual handling

Essential Cargo Operative Requirements:

  • UP TO DATE CV with 5 year history - 5-YEAR EMPLOYMENT HISTORY IN THE UK - must be verifiable by way of references
  • HMRC 5 year employment check
  • Clear Criminal Record Check (Basic DBS Check).
  • Right to live and work in the UK.
  • Previous experience working within the freight forwarding industry and with a good understanding on the procedure of working with freight is essential.
  • Able to reliably commute to Heathrow or the surrounding areas including on weekends
