Our clients based around Heathrow Airport and the surrounding areas are looking for experienced Cargo Warehouse Operatives to work in the freight forwarding industry.
Cargo Operatives Responsibilities:
- Working Day or Night shift, some roles will require flexibility to work a varied shift pattern
- Working between 8-12 hours per shift
- Building and breaking down ULDs
- Booking in and receipt of freight
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Wrapping freight
- Maintaining a high standard of safety within the warehouse including manual handling
Essential Cargo Operative Requirements:
- UP TO DATE CV with 5 year history - 5-YEAR EMPLOYMENT HISTORY IN THE UK - must be verifiable by way of references
- HMRC 5 year employment check
- Clear Criminal Record Check (Basic DBS Check).
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- Previous experience working within the freight forwarding industry and with a good understanding on the procedure of working with freight is essential.
- Able to reliably commute to Heathrow or the surrounding areas including on weekends
