Role: 7.5 Tonne Driver
Location: Park Royal
Pay Rate: £17.00 - £25.50 per hour
Working Hours: 05:00-13:45 Monday to Friday. Two Saturdays per month with a day off in the week.
Our client based in Park Royal is a supplier of gourmet food products using temperature-controlled vehicles with multiple hubs across the UK.
7.5 Tonne Driver Responsibilities:
- Load a temperature controlled vehicle
- Carry out up to 10-15 drops a day to high end customers in London including the city
- Deliver boxes and sacks of food to customers' premises (maximum weight 25kg)
- Carry out vehicle inspections at the start of each shift and report any faults to the line manager
- Debrief at the end of each day
Ideal experience but not essential:
- Previous experience working in a food company
- Experience working with a temperature controlled vehicle
- Experience delivering to high end customers in London including the city
7.5 Tonne Driver, essential requirements:
- Full UK Licence category C1 held for at least 2 years
- Valid CPC and digi tacho card
- Over 25 due to insurance
- At least 9 months experience driving a Class 2 Truck in the last 12 months
- Drivers must have good knowledge of manual entries
Positions are immediate start, following a successful driving assessment and will be on a temp to perm basis. Further benefits once permanent include:
