We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team. The role will include deliveries and collection in a curtain sided trailers. We have a variety of roles available for HGV Class 1 drivers including Long hull, short hull, trunking and shunting. Shifts have various start times with days, nights and weekends available. This position would suit those looking for long term regular work as well as those looking for adhoc shifts providing driving and working time permits. HGV Class 1 driver responsibilities: Provide a high quality customer focused service at all times. Long hull, short hull, multi drop, trunking and shunting experience Adhere to legislative and manufacturers requirements regarding road safety and vehicle operation. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements Complete and return all relevant customer paperwork. Assist in the loading and un-loading of cargo when required Ensure uniform clothing and personal protective equipment is worn and used at all times Undertake vehicle checks, and complete relevant defect reports in accordance with companys procedures. Take responsibility for and care of the vehicle and personal protective equipment issued Ensure compliance with Company policies, work instructions and procedures.
