Overview: We are seeking a Property Accountant for a real estate manager located north of Boston. The Property Accountant will lead property-level reporting for several individual assets within a larger industrial fund or portfolio, working under the supervision of Portfolio Accountants and the VP of Accounting. Property Accountant Location : Hybrid (North of Boston) Salary : $70,000-80,000 annually + bonus Overview: We are seeking a Property Accountant for a real estate manager located north of Boston. The Property Accountant will lead property-level reporting for several individual assets within a larger industrial fund or portfolio, working under the supervision of Portfolio Accountants and the VP of Accounting. Responsibilities: Perform month-end close process for a portfolio of properties Prepare monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts for the assigned portfolio Prepare quarterly and year-end CAM reconciliations Prepare quarterly financial packages for distribution to property and asset managers Monitor accounts receivables and cash receipts Initiate and record cash transactions (wires and check processing) Work with asset managers and property managers to review annual budgets for the assigned portfolio Monitor lender funding for construction requisitions Assist with debt compliance monitoring and lender reporting on a regular basis Assist with annual audits Assist accounting team with various tasks as assigned Perform other ad hoc duties as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting One to two years of accounting experience in commercial real estate Experience with Yardi accounting software preferred Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented Advanced skills in Excel a plus To learn more, please send your resume to Kyle Archer at karcher@daleyaa.com .
