HR Coordinator to join our growing team based in Clayton-Le-Woods. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, we are offering a competitive salary of£28,000 to £30,000 dependant on experience plus £600 bonus.
Dalesview has been established for over 30 years and holds an Investors in People gold award.
We provide specialist supported living and residential services for adults with severe learning and physical disabilities.

- The HR Coordinator role
The main purpose of the role is to support the HR Manager in the day to day running of the HR function.
The role is 35 hours a week Monday to Friday and exact hours will be discussed at interview.
- Key duties of our HR Coordinator
- Managing and maintaining employee records and files
- Monitoring and managing annual leave records.
- Monitoring and managing absence records.
- Overseeing the recruitment process.
- Managing the onboarding administration for new employees, including obtaining references, DBS checks & right to work checks.
- Processing all training administration, maintaining the training matrix and e-learning software.
- Supporting the Company’s disciplinary and grievance procedures including preparing documents and taking minutes.
- Scheduling of meetings and interviews, internal and external.
- Assisting with payroll preparation.
- Managing and maintaining the Company’s health care plans.
- Ad-Hoc administration tasks including minute taking; collecting and distributing post; filing; issuing P45’s; overseeing stationary stocks; photocopying; laminating.
- To perform other duties from time to time as may reasonably be required.
- Our ideal HR Coordinator will have
- A basic understanding of the HR and training function and how the department fits into and supports the organisation, the staff members and the company ethos and values.
- Administration experience with strong IT, communication and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating a friendly and approachable manner, displaying empathy and a caring nature when required.
- CIPD qualified or part qualified would be an advantage.
- Driving licence is preferred.
