Here at Dalesview we are looking for Senior Support Workers to join our growing teams based in Clayton Le Woods. If you are looking for a chance to develop your skills and are enthusiastic and committed to making a difference, this could be the role for you. We have contracts available for 35 and 40 hours a week and in return, we are offering a competitive hourly rate of £14.91 - £15.88 per hour dependant on experience and qualifications.
Dalesview is located in Clayton-Le-Woods and also has homes in Chorley and Leyland. Dalesview has been established for over 30 years and holds the Investors in People Gold Award. We provide specialist supported living and residential services for adults with profound learning and physical disabilities.

Key duties of our Senior Support Worker:
- Supervising and working alongside our care team in providing effective care and support to adult residents with profound learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities
- Assisting in the care of all service users through the delivery of person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans/risk assessments. This will include all aspects of moving and handling, personal care, eating and drinking
- Assisting in enabling service users to live their chosen lifestyle including accessing the local community and participating in leisure activities
- Dispensing medication
Our ideal Senior Support Worker will have:
- NVQ level 3 Health & Social Care is preferable
- Caring, hardworking, flexible and reliable
- Previous experience of working with people with learning disabilities is preferable
- Experience in supervising a team would be advantageous
- Full driving licence is preferable
