- Dales Community Care is looking for warm, patient and supportive Care Assistants to join our friendly community care team.
- As a Care Assistant, you will support people in their own homes. You will help them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life while supporting them to access their local community.
- Whether you are an experienced Care Assistant or looking to develop a career in care, we would love to hear from you if you have the right attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
What you'll be doing
You will provide person-centred support to clients in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care while promoting dignity, choice and independence.
- Supporting clients with medication and health monitoring.
- Preparing meals and supporting nutritional needs.
- Completing light household tasks to help keep homes safe and comfortable.
- Providing companionship, conversation and emotional support.
- Building positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Working alongside healthcare professionals when required.
You will play an important role in helping clients remain independent and enjoy a good quality of life in their own homes.
