Introduction

Dalemor Explorers Nursery is looking for a new Childcare Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Educator apprenticeship Level 3.

OFSTED registered nursery and Forest School for children aged 0 to 4 years old, offering spacious rooms, free flow to our gardens, daily extra‑curricular activities and Forest School.

What You’ll Do

This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming independent nursery and Forest School, working alongside experienced Early Years professionals who are passionate about providing high‑quality childcare.

You will gain valuable hands‑on experience supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing through a range of engaging indoor and outdoor activities.

The room you work in will be matched to your strengths and experience, providing opportunities to develop your skills while working toward your apprenticeship qualification.

The nursery is committed to supporting your personal and professional development, helping you build the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for a successful career in Early Years.

  • Day‑Day Responsibilities
  • Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing through play‑based and planned learning activities.
  • Help create a safe, stimulating, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor learning experiences.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
  • Observe children’s progress and contribute to learning and development records under supervision.
  • Support the delivery of activities that promote communication, creativity and independence.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, hygiene and nursery policies at all times.
  • Work as part of a supportive team while developing your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
  • Complete all apprenticeship training and assignments, applying your learning within the nursery setting.
  • Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude whilst providing high‑quality care for every child.

There is a possibility of being offered a full‑time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship.
