While we are based in Scarborough, the role can be home-based / hybrid once training on our unique products and processes has been delivered. You will need a solid engineering background, a keen eye for detail, and confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders. Working within our Sales division, you will support the development of accurate, commercially viable technical solutions to help win and deliver projects. At Dale, we are driven by doing the right thing for our customers, continuously improving, and never settling. What you’ll be doing:
- Producing costed technical proposals from client requirements, including specifications and data sheets
- Preparing cost/price make-ups (CMU/PMU) to ensure accurate pricing
- Supporting Sales in client negotiations across technical and commercial aspects
- Carrying out tendering activities, including site surveys and client meetings
- Collaborating with internal teams to handover and support project delivery
- Providing technical support throughout project delivery to ensure successful outcomes
What we’re looking for:
- Graduate, HNC/HND, or equivalent in an engineering discipline
- Strong IT skills, particularly in spreadsheets and documentation
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills
- A detail-focused, commercially aware approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
