Our clients comprise mainly local families and small businesses and we have been serving their legal requirements for over 110 years.

We see this as a partner designate appointment and so are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Solicitor to join our small team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding across related areas of law and have a proven track record of successfully handling a wide range of litigation matters.

As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice, managing litigation cases and representing clients in court.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients in litigation matters.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, including but not limited to contractual disputes, landlord and tenant disputes, business disputes and contentious probate and Inheritance Act claims.
  • Draft, review and negotiate legal documents including pleadings and settlement agreements.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on potential risks and litigation strategies.
  • Stay abreast of legal developments and industry trends to provide proactive advice.

A qualified solicitor with at least 7 years of experience across a wide range of litigation matters. A strong academic background with a post qualification focus solely on litigation cases. Proven experience handling difficult litigation matters without supervision. Excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills. Sound knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
