We are seeking a motivated and reliable Cheese Preparation Warehouse Operative to join our team at Ash Manor, Wrexham. This permanent position offers a consistent Monday to Friday shift pattern, providing the benefit of regular working hours and no weekend working.
Shift Pattern
- Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Monday to Friday

The Role
As a Cheese Preparation Warehouse Operative, you will play an important role in supporting our production operations by preparing cheese products for processing and packing.
This is a physically active role involving the handling of cheese products throughout the shift. You will work within a chilled food production environment, ensuring products are prepared safely, efficiently, and in line with food safety and quality standards. Full thermal PPE and protective clothing will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- De-box cheese blocks ready for production.
- Decant cheese offcuts into designated containers for further processing.
- Prepare materials in line with production requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, quality, and hygiene.
- Accurately follow work instructions and production schedules.
- Support the efficient flow of products through the production process.
- Work closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company health, safety, quality, and food safety procedures.
- Carry out general housekeeping duties within the department.
What You'll Need
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or food processing environment.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work on your own initiative when required.
- Ability to carry out manual handling activities throughout the shift.
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment.
- Experience working to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
