Role Summary

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Insight, the Insight Manager - Dairy Foods, Beverages & Ingredients will focus on global analysis and reporting across agri-food sector markets, channels, category performance and broader consumer and industry trends. This role will play an important part in translating syndicated and custom data into clear strategic recommendations that support commercial decision-making and long-term growth. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical capability, excellent story-telling skills and the ability to connect insight to commercial outcomes. Experience or expertise in dairy-based protein would be beneficial. The role can be based in NI, ROI or GB.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leverage syndicated and custom data to uncover actionable insights that inform market, channel and category strategies.
  • Collate and report insights from desk research and wider market reports.
  • Translate complex data and insight into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations for executive audiences.
  • Visualise data sets and insight in a clear and engaging way, turning analysis into actionable conclusions through succinct story-telling.
  • Continuously scan the global agri-food sector for insights relevant to Dale Farm business areas.
  • As part of the wider insight team, help generate a knowledge hub to ensure insight is cascaded effectively to relevant stakeholders across the business.
  • Support the delivery of strategic growth recommendations for the dairy business by linking data and insight to commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the dairy industry.
  • Proven track record of analysing data and turning findings into actionable insight.
  • Experience of working with complex data sets, including syndicated sources such as Nielsen and Kantar.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data and insight to commercial success.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation and analytics tools.
  • Ability to communicate market insights clearly and confidently to senior leadership.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the strategic impact of insight and analysis across the Dale Farm business.
  • A growth mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
  • Ability to build trust and work effectively with internal teams while delivering insight in line with project deadlines.
  • Further business intelligence qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Experience operating in an equivalent role within Dairy Ingredients, such as milk powders and dairy-based protein.
  • Particular expertise or experience in dairy-based protein would be beneficial.
