Dale Farm Cooperative is a UK dairy farmer co-operative owned by over 1200 dairy farmers who supply us with fresh milk. An opportunity exists for a permanent full-time production operative to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern over an 8 week cycle starting at 6am - 6pm with some flexibility for shift start times required. As a production operative, you will be a central part of a focused and energetic team striving to achieve optimum levels of machine efficiency and product quality.

The job covers all aspects of the production process from machine set-up, machine operation, completion of all quality and processing checks, through to final cleaning. This is an important role within the production operation, and we are looking for candidates who are keen for responsibility, who wish to develop their skills, contribute to a winning team and be proactive to deliver improvement initiatives.

Successful candidates will have a good general level of education and possess a good work ethic, as well as being reliable and co-operative to work flexible shift patterns. Relevant experience of machine operation, quality control, maintenance of production/process records and general packing duties is essential.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, keen for responsibility and to further develop their skills whilst contributing to a winning team. In return, the company offers plenty of challenge, attractive shift patterns, a good working environment and a competitive benefit package.
