About the Role

  • Document and develop an understanding of business processes and data flows and reporting requirements.
  • Support the collection, validation and documentation of data requirements from stakeholders.
  • Develop tools that automate existing business processes in line with the Data strategy.
  • Collect, maintain, cleanse and monitor datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and insights to support business decision making.
  • Support stakeholders with data analysis using statistical techniques where appropriate.
  • Design, develop and maintain user-friendly reports and dashboards aligned to business requirements.
  • Apply best practices in data visualisation to ensure clarity, usability and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate existing business processes using data and reporting tools.
  • Support the development and maintenance of a single source of truth for Dale Farm data.

    • Good technical skills particularly in automation techniques for data.

Essential Criteria

  • The successful candidate will:
    • Hold a relevant 3rd level qualification or equivalent in Business, IT, Statistics or a similar field.
    • Proven ability to guide a business on data ownership and data quality management tasks.
    • Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups across the business.
    • Able to identify risks and define plans to control or remediate these risks.
    • Competent in defining and reviewing data management policies, standards, practices, systems and controls.
    • Sound understanding and experience of Data Lifecycle Management.
    • Experience working with large datasets.
    • Experience in data visualisation and report development.
    • Experience in understanding business processes.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of working to Agile methods.
  • Experience of using Microsoft DevOps, SQL Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio and Database management.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
