- Ensure site services remain compliant with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Environmental legislation, maintaining audit-ready standards at all times.
- Maintain the highest standards of workmanship, ensuring all tasks meet site quality requirements.
- Support the ongoing development and implementation of the maintenance strategy for site services, helping to minimise unplanned downtime and address recurring issues through root cause analysis.
- Ensure all planned maintenance activities are accurately recorded on the CMMS.
- Use your technical expertise and initiative to identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption across all utilities.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives relating to site services.
- Attend daily engineering and operational meetings as required to provide maintenance updates and support effective communication across teams.
- Work closely with contractors during both planned service visits and reactive maintenance activities.
- Contribute as part of a collaborative team and maintain the flexibility to take on other reasonable duties as required.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and ready for use.
The Person:
Essential Criteria:
- A time-served electrical or mechatronic apprenticeship with a recognised UK qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years engineering experience in a manufacturing or services environment, with either mechanical or electrical expertise.
- A highly motivated approach, with the ability to perform effectively in a demanding and evolving environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence and ability to support and contribute to the wider team.
