Business Applications Integration Analyst The Role The Business Applications Integration Analyst is responsible for supporting, developing, and improving business applications and system integrations across the organisation. The role provides 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support, resolves technical issues, develops application enhancements, and delivers automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and AI technologies. Working closely with stakeholders, the analyst designs and supports integrations between systems, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange through APIs, file transfers, and other integration technologies. The role also drives process improvement by automating manual tasks, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting key business systems including ERP, WMS, HR, Payroll, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Reporting solutions. Success in the role requires strong application support, integration, SQL, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on delivering practical technology solutions that improve business performance. Key Responsibilities Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for business-critical applications, including incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Develop and enhance business applications to meet operational and business requirements. Design, implement and support integrations between systems using APIs, file transfers, EDI and web services. Develop automation solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps and AI technologies to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes. Maintain system documentation and collaborate with users, vendors and stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions. Support and enhance key business systems, including ERP, WMS, LIMS, HR, Payroll, Manufacturing, Logistics and Reporting platforms. Essential criteria 3-5+ years supporting business applications. Experience supporting business applications at 1st, 2nd and 3rd line level. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps. Knowledge of SQL and database technologies. Understanding of ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar. Ability to gather business requirements, translate them into technical solutions and delivering application improvements. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience integrating systems using APIs, file transfers, XML, JSON, CSV, EDI, or web services. Desirable criteria Exposure to AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Azure AI services.
