The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

Reporting to the Producer Services Manager, your main role will be to provide administrative support for members and customers as part of the Farm Services team. Within this role you will have a range of responsibilities, such as:

  • Provide backup admin support across a range of functions including Dairy Herd Management, Tankcare and Parlour Care.
  • This will involve becoming familiar with a range of software programmes including Navision, Core Milk and Storm Admin.
  • Liaising with site personnel to maintain and balance daily and monthly milk volume collections across the Dale Farm sites using Microsoft Excel and Core Milk.
  • Collating milk quality reports by assembling milk quality test results on tanker collections to internal and external customers.
  • Assisting with daily milk logistics and tanker movements and communicating with hauliers.
  • Providing reporting data on milk volumes and quality for milk billing and monthly accounts.
  • Produce Agros Insight reports on milk quality, milk volumes etc.
  • Provide telephone support for Dale Farm members and customers alongside other colleagues as part of the Producer Helpdesk.
  • Any ad hoc duties which may arise.

Applicants should have a good standard of education, with a minimum of 2 years administration experience. Admin experience gained in the agricultural sector is desirable. You must be flexible and able to adapt to changing information requirements of the business. You should be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and have strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Core Milk, Navision and Storm Admin or similar is also desirable. The successful candidate should be energetic, have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a member of a team within a busy, high-volume department, and handle a varied workload.
