As an HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our employees and managers across the Group. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on a range of HR matters, including employee relations, engagement, performance management, recruitment, and company policies. Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Provide timely and accurate advice to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and facilitating resolution in accordance with company policies and legislation.
  • Support the lifecycle of employees from recruitment and onboarding through performance and development, compensation to offboarding.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Assist in the development of company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver appropriate HR training as required.

We are looking for highly motivated and ambitious candidates with the energy, determination, and mindset to ensure effective delivery within a challenging manufacturing environment. Ideally you will be educated to degree level, be CIPD qualified with a minimum of three years experience working within a Human Resources department, preferably in the food/manufacturing industry and with exposure to unions. You will have a strong understanding of HR best practice and employment law, proven experience handling employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality and have strong problem solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgement in complex situations. You should also be highly proficient in Microsoft office and HRIS systems. Additionally you will need to be flexible to travel to any of our sites and have access to your own transport.
