The Opportunity \n You'll be at the heart of our insurance repair operation, responsible for analysing client Schedule of Rates, preparing repair scopes, pricing variations, managing final accounts and providing commercial support throughout the lifecycle of insurance reinstatement projects. \n Working closely with Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Teams and Insurance Clients, you will play a key role in ensuring projects remain commercially viable, accurately priced and effectively managed. \n This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator, quantity surveyor, insurance claims professional or Schedule of Rates specialist looking to join a growing and ambitious business. Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule of Rates Analysis \n \n Analyse client Schedule of Rates and pricing frameworks \n Interpret insurer and client pricing methodologies \n Identify opportunities and risks within contract pricing structures \n Ensure scopes of work are correctly aligned to client SORs \n Scope Preparation \n \n Produce detailed repair scopes from survey information, reports and site inspections \n Interpret building defects and damage reports \n Prepare comprehensive specifications for insurance reinstatement projects \n Work closely with operational teams to develop accurate project scopes \n Variations & Final Accounts \n \n Identify and prepare variations throughout project delivery \n Monitor changes against original scopes and budgets \n Produce supporting documentation for variation submissions \n Prepare and negotiate final accounts \n Reconcile completed works against Schedule of Rates frameworks \n Commercial & Financial Management \n \n Produce project budgets and financial forecasts \n Analyse project margins and profitability \n Monitor costs against approved schedules \n Support commercial reporting and performance analysis \n Assist with tender reviews and pricing submissions \n Stakeholder Management \n \n Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters and surveyors \n Support Contracts Managers and Operational Teams \n Attend project review meetings where required \n Provide technical and commercial advice to project stakeholders \n What We're Looking ForEssential Requirements \n \n Strong construction, building repair or property maintenance knowledge \n Excellent understanding of Schedule of Rates pricing mechanisms \n Experience preparing scopes of work and specifications \n Experience managing variations and final accounts \n Strong commercial awareness \n Ability to interpret technical reports and survey information \n Excellent numerical and analytical skills \n Experience preparing project budgets and forecasts \n Good understanding of insurance reinstatement projects \n Strong Microsoft Excel and IT skills \n Excellent attention to detail \n Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously \n Ideal Backgrounds \n We would welcome applications from individuals with experience as: \n \n Insurance Reinstatement Surveyor \n Quantity Surveyor \n Schedule of Rates Specialist \n Building Surveyor \n Claims Surveyor \n Estimator \n Commercial Analyst \n Cost Consultant \n Contract Administrator \n Project Surveyor \n Why Join DALE? \Exciting and Varied Work \n No two claims are the same.
