Job Description
ELECTRICIAN
Dale Building Maintenance Ltd are a specialist property maintenance company with its Head Office / contact centre based in Cardiff but also has operational offices in Swansea, Bristol, Southampton and Devon / Cornwall.
We have been in business since 1986 and provide maintenance and repair service to a variety of customers ranging from Blue Chip Retail Clients, Housing Associations, Leisure Industry, Government Departments, Insurance Companies and Domestic households.
Due to the award of new contracts we are now seeking to expand our directly employed workforce and require a qualified Electrician to be based in and around the South Wales area. The successful applicant must possess the following skills.
TRADE QUALIFICATIONS
18th Edition
Inspection & testing
GENERAL SKILLS
Carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance works
Excellent trade knowledge / workmanship on Reactive Maintenance
Possess a can do attitude
Good time keeping
Ability to work on own initiative
Good communicator
Good administration skills
IT Skills/use of hand held tablet device
An ability to carry out additional trades would be an advantage
The ability to work under pressure
Full UK Driving License
IN RETURN WE OFFER
Excellent negotiated salary
Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours payment per week
There is usually overtime of 5-10 hours per week but this is not guaranteed
Emergency out of hours call outs at enhanced rates working on a rota basis
