At Dalcour Maclaren, we are a leading player in the Utilities and Infrastructure industry, bringing the UK and Ireland closer to Net Zero each day. Our land, environmental, and geospatial experts work together to unlock the consents needed by our clients to deliver key projects. We provide services including land access, assembly, agricultural liaison, planning, environmental impact assessments, and geospatial mapping.

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our growing team and support the business with high-quality visual communication across digital, print, events, and internal platforms. This role operates on a hybrid model: three days per week in our Bicester office and two days from home.

As a Graphic Designer You Will

  • Produce digital graphics, PowerPoint presentations, social media assets and print-ready artwork.
  • Ensure all designs align with company branding guidelines.
  • Adapt assets for multiple formats and platforms.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite daily, including:
    • InDesign – reports, brochures, documents, print layouts.
    • Illustrator – vector artwork, icons, illustrations, exhibition graphics.
    • Photoshop – image editing, retouching, asset creation.
  • Design and prepare artwork for large-scale exhibitions, banners, boards, posters, leaflets, and signage.
  • Liaise with professional printers, supplying print-ready PDFs and checking bleed, crop marks, colour profiles and specifications.
  • Manage amends, proofing and final sign-off.
  • Work closely with events teams on timelines and delivery.
  • Use After Effects to create simple animations, internal comms videos and digital assets for campaigns and presentations.
  • Develop and apply event branding, including visual themes, digital and print assets, exhibition materials and promotional content.
  • Ensure cohesive branding across all event touchpoints.
  • Create and format content using drag-and-drop tools such as Foleon, SharePoint pages, and Craft CMS (experience with any CMS is suitable).
  • Focus on layout, hierarchy, accessibility and brand consistency.
  • Update and maintain SharePoint pages, upload visual content and apply basic page layouts.
  • Create and maintain company templates using Microsoft 365 daily, including PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Ensure templates remain up-to-date and on brand.
  • Store and manage shared design assets.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Have strong experience in graphic design across digital and print.
  • Be confident using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Have experience preparing artwork for print and liaising with printers.
  • Be comfortable working with digital platforms such as SharePoint, CMS tools and Foleon.
  • Be highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Be a strong communicator with a collaborative, can-do attitude.
  • Have experience creating PowerPoint templates and corporate documents.
  • Be proactive, creative and able to interpret briefs effectively.
