Due to continued success and considerable growth across the business, we are looking for a Graduate GIS Specialist to join the team and support our teams who provide services to clients across Power, Water, Telecoms and Transport.

As a Graduate GIS Specialist you will:

  • Under guidance, produce maps and plans for clients in support of a wide range of fast paced projects, including land ownership, access, utility routing, and legal plans.
  • With support, obtain, manage and analyse data from a range of sources including the Land Registry, Ordnance Survey, Environment Agency and Utility companies.
  • Utilise the latest technology to update online mapping systems and mobile applications.
  • Initially shadow and gradually move on to working more independently on projects and requests.
  • Develop and maintain own knowledge and skills via company run and wider training.
  • Play a key role in the team by supporting, communicating and helping all other team members.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a degree or masters in GIS or a closely related subject such as Geography, Surveying, Land Management or Data Science with a large GIS component.
  • Have a working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS software for spatial data capture, management and analysis.
  • Have a familiarity with Land Registry, Ordnance Survey and other UK wide datasets / sources.
  • Have a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site and project locations.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Be a great team player with a can-do attitude.
