We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC setter to join us here at our Head Office in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. This role would be suited to someone with experience of multi axis lathes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assigned to a production cell of machines to effectively and efficiently set the machines to meet the customer drawing specifications.
- Be responsible to the Team Leader.
- To have input into the technical support and method of manufacture to produce components.
Required Capabilities
- Ideally Citizen and/or Hanwha setting knowledge similar to the star control.
- The ability to interpret and understand Engineering drawings.
- Experience with gauging, inspection procedures and an underlying knowledge of metrology equipment and analysis.
Ideal Candidate information
- Previous experience working in a high tolerance manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge / previous experience on both Fanuc and Heidenhain controllers would be preferred.
- Previous experience in machining plastics would be preferred.
- Experience with Autodesk Fusion 360 is desirable but not essential.
- A "can do" attitude.
- Good time management.
- Be professional and loyal to the organisation as well as take pride in what they produce.
