Dalair LTD is a respected UK manufacturer of large-scale, high-quality Air Handling Units, operating proudly as part of the Swegon Group. As demand grows, so does our Contracts Department — and we’re now looking for a permanent, full time AHU Project/Contract Co-ordinator to help us deliver accurate, industry-leading technical drawings that drive every project forward.
This is an opportunity for a candidate who has a desire for concept to manufacture, being able to work within a supportive team and learn the Contracts process from start to finish, developing skills and experience along the way. Full training will be given to the successful candidate. This role is perfect for a candidate looking to develop their skills working on meaningful engineering challenges, and to develop your skills in both AutoCAD and REVIT within a company known for quality and innovation.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- AutoCAD Drawings — Review all units and components against our Design Code of Practice
- Customer Approval - Once the drawing has been checked and agreed, liaise with customers to confirm approval, using internal knowledge to answer technical queries
- Production Documentation — Once scheduled, prepare the document packs for the shopfloor (issue sheets, drawings, supplier component drawings)
- Customer Liaison — Keep in contact with the customer, liaise on progress, ensure components are available for production, check logistics, continue to liaise with the customer on job progress until completion of the units
- Cross-Department Collaboration — Work closely with Contracts and Applications teams to ensure design accuracy and specification compliance
Essential Criteria:
- Experience with selection tools within an AHU or Manufacturing business are desirable, not essential as full training will be provided
- Proficiency with Microsoft packages
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
