Under the direct supervision of the Food and Nutrition Services Director or Supervisor, the Cook will prepare and cook food for residents, patients, staff and visitors.
Requirements
- Determines types and quantities of meats, vegetables and soups to be prepared by reviewing planned menus.
- Ensures meals are ready at specified times.
- Consults Registered Dietitian on modified diets, as necessary.
- Maintains kitchen in a clean, neat and organized manner.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Cooking experience is preferred.
