We are seeking a hospitable individual with a full UK drivers license for the role of Concierge Supervisor with hotel guest & reservations management, valet parking and driving duties.

  • PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the leadership and day-to-day operation of the Dakota Manchester Airport Concierge Department, providing clear direction, coaching, and motivation to the concierge team.
  • Carry out valet parking & chauffeur service duties, driving and parking guest cars as well as the hotel cars.
  • Take responsibility of our luxury transfer reservations to the private airport terminals, ensuring the highest attention to detail.
  • Oversee the smooth flow of guest arrivals and departures, ensuring exceptional lobby presence, attentiveness and a warm Dakota welcome at all times.
  • Collaborate closely with Reception, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and an outstanding guest experience.
  • Take ownership of guest and reservation management, ensuring requests, preferences and special arrangements are managed efficiently and accurately.
  • Enhance the guest journey by arranging additional services such as restaurant reservations, transportation, local recommendations, attraction bookings, and bespoke guest requests.
  • Monitor departmental standards, appearance, and procedures to ensure service excellence, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with training, onboarding, and developing team members, helping to maintain a high-performing concierge team.
  • APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant will have/be

  • Working experience as a Concierge, Doorperson or Front of House Supervisor is highly desirable.
  • Hands on approach to all aspects of the role, being proactive to carry guests luggage and provide general assistance.
  • Have held a full UK drivers license for at least 5 years for car insurance purposes.
  • An enthusiastic individual who will promote our culture of positivity.
  • Be task oriented with a great pride for the work they do and attention to detail.
  • Flexible with shift patterns and available around the needs of our business.
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate having researched our brand and a genuine desire to be part of our team.
